Bank History

Amreli Nagarik Sahakari Bank Limited was established in Amreli on 11th June, 1964 under the Chairmanship of Late Shri Premjibhai T. Leuva and Managing Director of Late Shri Gokaldas M. Patel. The Bank started functioning in very small rented premises at Jubilee Dharmshala, Station Road, Amreli. Reserve Bank of India gave banking licence UBD. GUJ 1546P to our bank on 11th February, 1998.

 

Amreli Nagarik Sahakari Bank Limited has 3 Branches in Amreli District. The Administrative Office of the Bank and Chital Branch are functioning in beautiful buildings owned by the Bank. All the branches are situated in very prominent business or residential areas of Amreli. Two branches of the Bank is having Safe Deposit Vault facility. All branches are provided with modern and comfortable furniture, latest office equipments, computers and other machines so that customers can conduct their business in pleasant and comfortable surroundings. The Bank has started core banking services since December, 2013.

 

The Board of Directors of the Bank includes very prominent businessmen, industrialists, social workers and leading citizens. The Chairman, Vice Chairman, Managing Director and all Board of Directors are giving honorary services to the bank.

 

Customers of the Bank includes Manufacturers, Wholesalers, traders and retailers dealing in various industries. Professional persons such as doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants, engineers etc. receive loans for buying premises for their clinics, office, equipments etc. Women entrepreneurs receive special encouragement from the Bank for starting small business or industry. 

 

The bank is giving various facilities as Stamp Franking, Energy Bill Collection, RTGS and NEFT and RuPay ATM cum Debit Card facilities.
